Our Fractional HR engagements are right-sized for each of our clients. Based on your needs, you’ll have a dedicated CraftHR Consultant anywhere from 1/2 day to 5 full days per week.

We begin each Fractional HR engagement with a Craft HR Assessment to determine how we can make the greatest impact. The Assessment will uncover where your organization is managing compliance risk effectively, and what programs, policies, and processes need updating.
The CraftHR Assessment produces a Project Plan for your organization that guides CraftHR’s work in a proactive manner. The Project Plan also provides direction in creating valuable processes to help you run efficiently, enhance employee engagement, retention, and productivity.

The CraftHR Assessment Process
1. DISCOVERY
A 1.5 – 2-hour kick-off meeting is held where the CraftHR team and your team discuss current business strategy, goals, processes, practices, and documentation.
2. DATA
Your team submits all supporting documents and data requested from CraftHR.
3. ANALYSIS
Once all Data is received, the CraftHR team conducts an internal review of the elements gathered. The CraftHR Team will likely email back and forth with you for clarifications. It’s common to have 1 or 2 brief meetings during this phase.
4. DEVELOP
CraftHR compiles the findings in a comprehensive assessment with expert HR insights and recommendations.
5. ACTION
CraftHR presents the Assessment Findings to you. Key areas of focus and a prioritized list of next steps are discussed. Typically, a 1-1.5 hour meeting.
How Fractional HR Works.
For most small to mid-size organization budgets, making a full-time hire is not possible, but flex capacity through fractional HR is. We provide fractional solutions that give you a dedicated consultant, supported by a full team of experienced HR experts that include compliance, benefits, HCM payroll, compensation, training and recruiting.
Fractional HR engagements are contracted for a minimum of 12 months up to 36 months. A typical 12-month engagement is broken up into two phases; Running Start and Running Steady.
Month 1-4 : Running Start
Your CraftHR Consultant works with you to immediately address the high priority items identified in the Assessment. As needed, HR Processes and Procedures are developed or refined. CraftHR Running Start engagements typically last 4 months and for small organizations run from $3,680 - $4,600 per month. Mid-size organizations engagements run in the $5,520 - $7,360 per month range.
Month 5-12: Running Steady
During the Running Start phase, we helped you get your HR house in order. Now it’s time for us to be your Running Steady partner! You can count on us to:

CraftHR Running Steady engagements for small organizations run from $1,840 - $3,680 per month. Mid-size organizations engagements typically run in the $3,680 - $5,520 per month range.
